Initial aims:

  • a vocabulary of Ottoman administrative units
  • a linkable database of Ottoman provinces, subprovinces, major cities, and other generally-agreed geospatial objects

I describe this at a separate page. Insofar as possible, I am replicating wikidata's items and properties. My model is the JSTOR Labs Wikibase.
